NOTE: This seal is Ridged (not smooth) it cannot be used in place of Smooth seals.

The two seals are not interchangeable. You cannot use a ridged seal on a machine that uses a smooth seal & you cannot use a smooth seal on a machine that uses a ridged seal.
Sadly there are no Smooth seals, these are now obsolete.
